SentireAeris : Speaking as a professional aerodynamicist, those pedals being a benefit is highly questionable at best.
1. For a significant portion of the pedalstroke the cleat is in the wake of your foot, and in that case even if you had MTB pedals there it wouldn't make any difference.
2. The dimples are likely a gimmick. Designed to look like a golf ball because people recognise it. Golf balls travel much faster than your foot, and when they slow down below a critical speed (reynolds number based on surface length, temperature, pressure, viscosity of air and speed), they become ineffective and the ball drops dramatically. Unless your foot is constantly above at least ~60kph, (ideally closer to 120-160kph golf balls are during their initial flight)... They're useless. Same goes for the bottle I'm sorry to say.
3. The area they represent is SO small, that even if there were a benefit over regular road pedals, the overall difference to you on the bike would be below marginal, miniscule. You'd be likely better off choosing the right tyre pressure to the nearest single PSI!
I can always be proved wrong, perhaps a challenge for the GCN lot, but I would wager good money you'll never see any measurable difference aside from placebo. Ditching the aero bottle will save you substantially more if you're really looking to optimise aerodynamics (and is also free).

I'm buying the cf8 with disk and di2 though because it's slightly cheaper but will still have a good second hand price.

Story of my bike: Matt & his new Canyon Speedmax CFR, first ride – an impromptu interview

While on a Saturday ride to Bald Hill and back to Sydney, I bumped into Matt who was riding his new Canyon Speedmax CFR time trial bike for the first time since the unpack/build (a few days earlier).
We had only met moments earlier, but Matt kindly took a moment to explain the story of his new bike.

This is a completely unplanned interview at the turn-around point for us both on what would become a rather wet Saturday ride in February 2022.
